why we use binding directory and service pgm ?

ILE pgms are created by Bind by copy and Bind by Reference.. If you use service pgm to create a ILE pgm then that is Bind by reference.. We bind the modules to create a service pgm..

Whereas the Binding directory has the list of modules and service pgm listed in a sequence..

Correct me if i am wrong..
