How to transfer the records from a PF to excel with comma seperators?
Step 1:
Go with CPYTOIMPF and fill the following options,
From File:
File ---> emppf
Lib ---> pms43
To stream file ---> /emppf.xls
Press enter and fill the below options
Stream file code page ---> *PCASCII
Record delimiter ---> *CRLF
Press enter then it will show the message "All records copied from file EMPPF in PMS43"
STEP 2:
Then go with wrklnk (work with object links) command and there we can see the emppf.xls file.
Also by issuing 5 for Display we can see the records from emppf.xls with comma seperator for each
and every field.
STEP 3:
Then by using FTP from DOS prompt by using get command we can transfer the emppf.xls to our local system.
Thanks,
