Some time we run a command having *n is one of the parameter. For example runqry *n filea

What for?

*n denotes all ie All n records from the file..

In runqry *n libraryname/filename...... *n means to avoid the Query name of the particular DB .if we have already created the Query of the that particular DB file means at that time we can type this command directly: 'RUNQRY LIBRARY NAME/QUERY NAME'.

I agree, but I feel it could be answer like below.
*N denotes for *NONE for *QRYF.
So we are running PF, but not the *QRYF.
