PF not able to Update, but able to read.

While I am trying to update a PF, it doesn’t allow me to do.
What could be the possible reasons?
How do we find the exact reasons?

check whether any LF associated with that PF using DSPDBR...

1. Check wheather object is locked.
2. May be object get damaged(By using DSPOBJD u can find this).
