What is execute message function?

Execute message function allows a request message to be executed by the calling program. The command is entered in the second level message. The message type should be "EXC". Override functions are not possible. For Open query [OPNQRY] and open database [OPNDBF] you should specify a value of the *PERM to prevent closure of file
