Display BLANK charector When Date = 01-01-0001

When date fiels value is 0001-01-01. I would like to display date field as b lank. How do we achive this?

Display BLANK charector When Date = 01-01-0001
A R RECORD
A DATFLD1 L DATFMT(*ISO)
A MAPVAL(('01-01-0001' *BLANK))
This will help to get the blank values if the data is 01-01-0001.
